Major football club from Italy AC Milan has reportedly made its ACM fan token available, with the first active project is to have their supporters vote on the club motto for the season.
Specifically, the club’s ACM fan token has reportedly been publicly rolled out on Socios.com – which supports token buying activities for fans, which then grant access to club polls, VIP rewards, super-fan recognition, games and chat forums.
The initial purchasing price of the token reportedly stands at $6.68.
Via its collaboration with blockchain entity Chilliz, AC Milan is debuting the ACM token with a team motto poll, in which ACM holders will be able to design and vote on a motto, offering inspiration to players for the remainder of the 2020–2021 Serie A playing season.
The chosen motto will reportedly be put inside the first-team dressing room at the San Siro stadium.
Scheduled to be launched in the third week of February, the poll is reportedly expected to offer a chance to get behind their favourite superstar player for more than 500 million fans of AC Milan across the globe.
AC Milan reportedly disclosed the official announcement of its initiative to make the ACM fan token available on Chilliz in January this year, in an effort to engage with the club supporters during the ongoing global pandemic.
Before its project with AC Milan for the fan token release, Chiliz and Socios reportedly rolled out various tokens for different sports clubs and organizations, including FC Barcelona, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.
