Fidelity Investments – a US-based investment management firm – is currently in search of suitable candidates to work on its crypto custody wing – Fidelity Digital Assets. The job vacancies have been listed on the firm’s official career site.

Specifically, Fidelity is seeking for talented resources in 9 positions in various fields, from analytics and data engineering to blockchain solutions architecture and blockchain solutions engineering.

The company is also trying to recruit a new Vice President of Solutions Architecture for blockchain and cryptocurrency, as well as a new Blockchain Software Engineer, along with a few other jobs. Potential applicants reportedly need to have experience working in the fields of cryptography, cryptocurrencies, cybersecurity, and data science.

Fidelity has been looking for fresh faces in many of its divisions and departments within the last few months, which are reportedly believed to be in line with the company’s plan to introduce a new Bitcoin (BTC) trading for institutional clients within the upcoming weeks.

“We currently have a select set of clients we’re supporting on our platform. We will continue to roll out our services over the coming weeks and months based on our clients’ needs, jurisdictions, and other factors.” Fidelity spokeswoman Arlene Roberts told Bloomberg.

Chris Tyrer – former British investment bank Barclays CEO – was recruited by Fidelity, along with Christine Sandler – former head of Sales and Marketing at Coinbase – who will be working as its new Sales and Marketing Director.
